Arizona State Retains Top Spot in D-I Women's Poll


The first Golf World/NGCA Division I Coaches' Poll of the spring season has been released.

Arizona State remained the No. 1 team in the poll, earning 28 of the 42 first-place votes. The Sun Devils, the defending NCAA champion, won twice in the fall and opened their spring schedule with a T-4 finish at the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge.

Rounding out the top-five are UCLA (No. 2), Auburn (No. 3), Purdue (No. 4) and Duke (No. 5). Pepperdine's runner-up finish at the Northrup Grumman helped the Waves move into the top-10 in the 10th position.

No new teams joined the top-25. Here's the complete poll:
