City Officials Close to Finalizing Remodel of Mooresville Course

The Mooresville (N.C.) Board of Commissioners is one step away from finalizing a major remodel of the city-owned Mooresville Golf Course.

On December 1 the commissioners will vote on awarding a $4.3 million contract to Georgia-based Southeastern Golf to revamp the municipal facility.

The eight-month project will involve a new irrigation system, new driving range and practice area, and a remodel of all 18 holes.

The layout began with nine holes designed by Donald Ross in 1949; a second nine was added in 1977.
