Feng & Park Share Halfway Lead at Manulife Financial LPGA Classic; Wie One Back

China's Shanshan Feng and Hee Young Park are now atop the leaderboard through 36 holes of the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic. The $1.5 million event is taking place at Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo, Ont.

Feng, a 24-year-old with three titles - including a major in the 2012 LPGA Championship - followed up her opening 5-under 66 with a 65 to reach 11-under 131, the same total as Park. The South Korean, a two-time winner whose most recent victory came in this event last year, has shot 65 and 66.

Michelle Wie began Friday tied for the lead with Park. The 24-year-old Hawaiian shot a 67 Friday and is in solo third at 10-under. Two strokes behind the leaders is Sweden's Anna Nordqvist, who fired the low round of the day, a 7-under 64.

China's Xi Yu Lin posted her second straight 67 and is at 8-under heading into the weekend, while tied for sixth at 7-under 135 are Spain's Belen Mozo (67) and South Koreans Inbee Park (66), So Yeon Ryu (67) and Na Neon Choi (67).

No. 1-ranked Stacy Lewis, winner of last week's ShopRite LPGA Classic in New Jersey by a convincing six strokes, has carded two consecutive 69s and is tied for 19th at 4-under 138 with several players, including No. 3 Lydia Ko, who rebounded from an opening 71 with a 67.

The low Canadians are Cydney Clanton and Brooke Henderson, a 16-year-old amateur from Smiths Falls, Ont., at 1-under 141.

The weekend cut was set at 1-over 143.
