Jang Up by Four Coates Golf Championship

Ha Na Jang of South Korea followed up her opening 5-under 67 with a 65 to take a four-stroke lead in the Coates Golf Championship. The $1.5 million LPGA Tour event got underway Wednesday at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club in Florida.

For the second straight day, play was suspended due to darkness with several players unable to complete their rounds. Play will resume at 7:30 a.m. Friday.

The 22-year-old Jang carded eight birdies and a bogey to reach 12-under 132, four shots ahead of No. 3-ranked Stacy Lewis, who's posted a 66 and 70. Five back are No. 2-ranked Lydia Ko of New Zealand (69) and Spain's Azahara Munoz (71).

Also at 7-under are Americans Angela Stanford and Austin Ernst, but those two will have to finish up Friday morning. Stanford was at 6-under on her round through 14 holes, while Ernst was 2-under after 13.

Lewis and Munoz began the second round tied for the lead with Jessica Korda. The 21-year-old Korda dropped to 6-under after managing only a birdie and a bogey for a 72. Also at 138 is South Korean Na Yeon Choi (70).

No. 1 Inbee Park scored four strokes higher than her opening 71. The 12-time LPGA winner, who won three times in 2014, had three bogeys in her second round - against no birdies - and heads into the third at 146.

Paula Creamer had the shot of the day when she aced the 162-yard sixth hole, with a 5-iron. After the ball landed on the green and rolled into the cup, Creamer did a shimmy dance. The 28-year-old California posted a 70 and heads into Friday at 142.
