Karlsson & English Lead Suspended OHL Classic at Mayakama

Though no rain or lightning halted the proceedings Saturday, for the third round in a row play was halted in the OHL Classic at Mayakoba due to darkness.

The $6 million PGA Tour event at El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, has been playing catch-up ever since there were two suspensions in Thursday's opening round.

Robert Karlsson remains atop the leaderboard. The 33-year-old has carded rounds of 63 and 67, and is at 15-under through seven holes of the third round before the cessation of play Saturday.

Also at 15-under is Harris English. English has posted rounds of 68 and 62. Like Karlsson, the 24-year-old from Georgia is 3-under through seven holes of his third round.

Kevin Stadler was tied with Karlsson after 36 holes at 12-under, but the 33-year-old son of Craig Stadler was even-par after six holes and dropped into a tie for third with Rory Sabbatini, who's carded rounds of 68 and 65 and is 3-under through eight.

Third-round play will resume at 7:00 ET Sunday morning before the start of the final 18.

Sitting at 11-under are Spain's Alvaro Quiros (6-under through 14 holes), Jason Bohn (4-under through nine) and Chris Stroud (3-under through eight).

Defending champion John Huh is at 5-under par following rounds of 70 and 68 and after going 1-under through 15 holes of his third round.

Once the second round was completed, the 36-hole cut was set at 1-under 141.
