Munie: The Jitterbug Collection’ by Bobby Steiner

Munie: The Jitterbug Collection’ by Bobby Steiner Reviewed by Dr. John Wagner

This is an interesting book. Steiner not only got my interest in the first 20 pages, but I wanted to find out where he was going with the story.

As a novel, I feel it’s a bit weak in its descriptions of people. I never really got to know any of the characters. All they did was play golf. No idea who these people were, except they just appeared and taught a young man who wanted to learn about golf and become a PGA pro.

But as for golf instruction book, I found it fun to read. It imparted a lot of good ideas on the swing, chipping, putting, and the overall game. For that he used his characters well and it maintained my interest.

The print on the pages was also easy to read. In sum, as a novel this book is weak but, for me as a golfer, it gave me a lot of food for thought about the game.
