ProLink Solutions, Elūmina Iberica SA Partner in Burgeoning Overseas Golf Markets

August 8, 2005. ProLink Solutions, the world’s largest solutions provider of Global Positioning Satellite Management Systems (“GPS”) for golf courses, announced it has partnered with Elūmina Iberica SA to install the state-of-the-art ProLink GPS system at select, high-end courses throughout Europe, and parts of the Middle East.

One of the fastest growing businesses in the international golf industry, Elūmina will build the ProLink brand in a footprint this year consisting of more than 35 courses. Courses ordering installations of the ProLink GPS system via Elūmina include world-class Valderrama, Alicante, La Moraleja and La Sella golf clubs in Spain, and Brocket Hall, Kilworth Springs and Whittlebury Park in England. Additional courses in these and other countries are being scheduled for installations in the third quarter of 2005.

With its industry-leading, in-house engineering, mapping and technical services, Elūmina is uniquely positioned to exponentially grow installations of ProLink GPS systems at public, private and resort courses in a wide variety of countries and economic environments. The company’s innovative leasing arm – Elūmina Finanzia – provides courses with a flexible, accessible financing mechanism for purchasing golf cart fleets custom equipped with ProLink GPS systems.

Further increasing the accessibility of ProLink to all courses in its target markets, Elūmina is pioneering a multi-national brand advertising program that enables courses to offset the cost of, and even profit from, the installation of the ProLink GPS system. The no-hassle, revenue-generating system is fully administered by Elūmina and its advertising partners, and courses are reimbursed monthly based on total rounds played and average price-per-round. The financing and advertising programs – in concert with ProLink’s multi-layered GPS system -- provide a complete, turn-key marketing solution capable of funding capital projects, equipment purchases and other on and off-course enhancements.

ProLink’s industry-leading GPS system boasts a high-resolution, color display unit neatly affixed to each golf cart. The easy-to-read screen displays pinpoint-accurate distances to the hole, as well as vibrant and easy-to-understand graphics of fairways, greens, hazards and other on-course geographical features. Better navigating the course and taking guesswork out of the game aids golfers’ shot selections and, in turn, speeds pace of play. Other features include ordering food and beverage at the touch of a button on the ninth and 18th tees, as well as personal scoring and tournament leaderboards.

“We are excited to team with Elūmina and to add this dynamic company to our growing list of trusted partners and distributors,” says Lawrence Bain, President and CEO of ProLink Solutions. “Courses that rapidly adopt ProLink GPS systems enrich their customer experience and customer service in addition to substantially increasing sales through our tried and true value propositions. We look forward to working with the Elūmina team to enhance the experience in their international portfolio.”

“The combination of ProLink’s industry-leading brand and Elūmina’s financing, marketing, and advertising solutions provides a strong foundation for growing the use of ProLink systems at courses throughout the Europe and parts of the Middle East,” says Mark Smart, Managing Director of Elūmina Iberica SA.

With ProLink GPS systems, courses in Elūmina’s portfolio will streamline operations by optimizing tee-sheet yield and enhancing golf cart wear-and-tear monitoring. Courses will also be better equipped to manage large tournaments and corporate outings, thus attracting additional events and incremental profits.

Through revenue generation, bottom-line savings and overall game-improvement and enjoyment features for golfers, ProLink GPS systems have become a necessary marketing and management tool for private, resort and daily-fee courses.

In an open letter of recommendation to Elumina, Jaime Ortiz-Patińo, President of Valderrama Golf Club has said, “We have found it (Prolink GPS) to be by far the best GPS system presently available on the market - I would highly recommend it to any club interested in this type of system.”

Course operators say the reliable and robust ProLink GPS system benefits food-and-beverage sales; green and cart fees; innovative and unobtrusive on-screen advertising for local businesses and course merchandise, tournaments and memberships; optimal tee-sheet yield; and marketing a competitive advantage to secure more golf rounds from new and repeat players.

Courses engaging with ProLink Solutions and its distributors substantially lower expenses by not having to hire additional on-course staff or develop costly, cumbersome yardage books. Courses also add up to four rounds per day from pace-of-play improvements, and can control messages from a central computer from which clubhouse staff can issue golfers “speed-up-play” and inclement-weather notices. ProLink GPS systems also allow for quicker reaction to on-course medical emergencies.
