Stallings Wins True South Classic

Scott Stallings racked up his second PGA Tour victory, closing with a 4-under 68 Sunday to win the True South Classic. The $3 million PGA Tour event took place at Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss.

Due to storms that swept through the Madison area every day of the tournament, the field had to cope with incomplete rounds throughout. But by Sunday afternoon the event was back on schedule thanks to sunny, steamy weather.

Stallings, who logged his first Tour win in last year's Greenbrier Classic, had four birdies and an eagle en route to a third-round 8-under 64, then followed that up with a five-birdie-one-bogey 68 to finish at 24-under 264, two strokes ahead of first-round leader Jason Bohn (67) and four in front of Billy Horschel (71).

Stallings' triumph was worth $540,000 and 250 FedEx Cup points.

Bud Cauley had a 66 to end up in fourth at 269, while tied for fifth at 270 were Scott Brown (65), Will Claxton (67) and William McGirt (67). Defending champion Chris Kirk closed with a 69 to end up sharing 10th at 273.
