Tickets for 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay Now Available

Even though the 2014 U.S. Open at Pinehurst hasn't even started - it tees off Thursday, the USGA has announced the sale of tickets to the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay in University Place, Wash.

Tickets for the 2015 U.S. Open - to be held June 15-21 - became available on Monday, June 9. This will be the first time in its 115-year history that "America's National Golf Championship" will be held in the Pacific Northwest and the first time on an all-fescue, true links course. It'll be the fourth on a publicly-owned facility.

There are a variety of daily and weekly ticket options for the 2015 U.S. Open, with prices starting at $50 and $450, respectively. The choices include:

1895 Club: This climate-controlled pavilion located in the North Meadow (near the 13th hole) is the highest-end spectator ticket option. The 1895 Club offers an all-inclusive food and beverage package featuring breakfast, a buffet lunch with hot entrees, afternoon snacks and full bar service throughout the day in a custom designed hospitality environment.

Trophy Club: Also located in the North Meadow, the Trophy Club is a climate-controlled pavilion offering ample seating, live network coverage of the championship in a sports bar-like setting, and a variety of food and beverage options that may be purchased at an additional charge.

Gallery: Gallery tickets provide access to the grounds of Chambers Bay and to all concession facilities and grandstands throughout the course.

Weekly Packages: Each ticket type can be purchased as a week-long ticket package.

All weekly packages include a playoff ticket for Monday, June 22 (if needed). Ticket buyers purchasing an 1895 Club weekly package will receive a playoff Trophy Club ticket, as the 1895 Club will not be open in case of a playoff.

Junior tickets are available and must be purchased on-site at Will Call or any admission gate during the championship. Juniors, ages 12 and under, will be admitted free of charge any day when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Tickets for juniors, ages 13 to 17, will be available at a reduced rate. There is a maximum of two junior tickets per adult ticket holder. Junior tickets permit Trophy Club access only when accompanied by an adult Trophy Club ticket holder. Junior 1895 Club tickets will be sold at a lower price.

Tickets will also be available for military personnel. On-site during practice round days (Monday, June 15 through Wednesday, June 17), active military personnel receive complimentary Gallery tickets and retired personnel can purchase Gallery tickets at a reduced rate of $25 each.

Next year's U.S. Open is already generating strong interest. The Northwest showed an unprecedented level of enthusiasm as, within a mere 36 hours of its announcement, 6,000 people applied for the 4,600 available volunteer spots. Also, 7,500 weekly ticket packages have been bought during presale promotions.

With a total of 30,000 spectator tickets per day available, the USGA is encouraging early action by golf fans with its sale of tickets that started Monday.
