Tiger Maintains Top Spot in World Golf Ranking

Tiger Woods kept his commanding lead in the most recent World Golf Ranking. The latest listing came out Monday. The five-time winner in 2013 is over 170 points ahead of No. 2 Adam Scott. Woods was named the PGA Tour's Player of the Year last week.

Following the Aussie in the top-10 are Phil Mickelson, Henrik Stenson, Justin Rose, Rory McIlroy, Steve Stricker, Matt Kuchar, Brandt Snedeker and Jason Dufner.

Scott, Mickelson, Rose and Dufner are the year's four major winners, while Stenson won the season-ending Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup title.

David Howell, who won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland for his first title in seven years, moved into the top-100 to No. 96. The player who he beat on the second sudden-death playoff hole at the Old Course, American Peter Uihlein, is now 69th.
