Tuscany Reserve in Naples Gets New Look & Name

Kitson & Partners, a private real estate and development company based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., has given a new name and is implementing a new vision for the former Tuscany Reserve Golf Club and community, which it purchased last February. The Naples facility is now called Talis Park Golf Club.

Ranked by Golf Digest as one of the top-20 golf courses in Florida, the 18-hole layout is one of only two in the world co-designed by Greg Norman and Pete Dye. The venue features Sea Dwarf Paspalum fairways and greens. Dye has said he "never, ever seen a golf course like it in such good shape and condition anywhere in the world."

Opened in 2005, the 7,000-yard course meanders along terraced hillsides; water hazards spill over stone walls into narrow lakes and channels. It's the centerpiece of Talis Park, a golf community now being reinvigorated and repositioned by one of Florida's biggest real estate developers.

"There is no question we have one of the best golf courses in Florida," said Syd Kitson, CEO of Kitson & Partners. "We are committed to preserving and enhancing the premier golfing experience at Talis Park."

Kitson & Partner's vision for the "new" Talis Park will focus on a Naples lifestyle that is more relaxed and in step with an active way of life. "The Naples luxury market is evolving, and today its socially connected and health-conscious residents are centered on so much more than 18 holes of golf," Kitson added.

Envisioned as a community gathering place, the under-construction Vyne House will be a multi-purpose village center with indoor and outdoor spaces, the golf clubhouse and a pool, a spa, fitness center and cafe. A separate facility will be dedicated to tennis and bocce, and an adjacent "Great Lawn" will be devoted to wine festivals, concerts and movie screenings.

While the Vyne House is being built, Talis Park's Golf Studio will continue to serve as the interim clubhouse. Resident and nonresident golf memberships are available for $65,000, with 2012 annual dues of $7,000.

Talis Park will offer three new home collections later this spring. The units will offer diverse architectural styles and feature indoor/outdoor living spaces with golf course and water views. Prices range from $700,000 to $2 million plus.
