Company Purchases Assets of Wittek Golf Supply Co.


The assets of Wittek Golf Supply Co., a national leader in golf supply products have been purchased by P&W Golf Supply LLC. The company will continue operations at its headquarters in Northbrook, Ill., and will operate under the name, Wittek Golf.

"For nearly 70 years, Wittek has been the leader in the golf supply industry and the choice of golf professionals and superintendents around the world," stated Gene Pruban, co-founder, P&W Golf Supply. "We look forward to building upon the foundation established in 1946 and adding to the legacy going forward by bringing new products, new technologies and an enhanced order platform to meet the evolving needs of our customers."

P&W Golf Supply is dedicated to improving customer service by increasing the stock of products that customers have come to expect from Wittek. This will allow the company to turn around orders in a timely fashion. This spring, the company plans to roll out an updated golf catalog with new product offerings.

"We have heard rumors that the company has gone out of business, but this cannot be further from the truth," added Tim Pruban, P&W's other co-founder.
