Crall Named GOLF 20/20 Chair

Darrell Crall, chief operating officer of the PGA of America, has been named GOLF 20/20 chair for 2014. Crall succeeds Mike Hughes, chief executive officer of the National Golf Course Owners Association, who served as chair from 2010 to 2013.

Crall joined the PGA of America headquarters in 2011 as senior director, Golf 2.0, the organization's growth-of-the-game platform. When Pete Bevacqua was named CEO of the PGA of America in November 2012, Crall was promoted to his current position.

"It is an honor to be selected as chair and I'm excited to work closely with our industry's leaders to grow the game of golf," said Crall. "GOLF 20/20 began as a forum for our game's leaders and will continue to be a vital meeting place for ideas and initiatives that affect the future of our sport."

"Darrell's extensive knowledge and leadership skills, especially in ways to grow golf, will benefit our mission of supporting the game worldwide," said Steve Mona, chief executive officer of the World Golf Foundation, which administers GOLF 20/20.

"He has a proven track record with several senior level positions at the PGA of America and we look forward to his leadership in 2014."

In addition to Crall and Hughes, past GOLF 20/20 chairs included Joe Steranka, former CEO of the PGA of America, and Tim Finchem, PGA Tour Commissioner.
