McIlroy & Woods Retain Top Two Spots in Latest Rankings

Despite being unceremoniously ousted in the first round by the lowest-ranking players at the recently completed WGC-Accenture World Golf Championship, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods are still ranked Nos. 1 and 2 in the most recent World Golf Ranking, which came out Monday.

McIlroy still has a solid nearly 200-point lead over Woods. Although he lost to Charles Howell III, Woods somehow gained 52 points on the 23-year-old Northern Irishman.

Former No. 1 Luke Donald is third. The Englishman is followed by Brandt Snedeker - who took the last week off, Louis Oosthuizen, Justin Rose, Adam Scott, Match Play champion Matt Kuchar, Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter in the top-10.

Hunter Mahan, who was seeking to defend his Match Play title but lost to Kuchar in the championship finale, moved up four spots to No. 21.
