Oklahoma State Atop D-I Poll
Oklahoma State is the top team in the first Golf Division I coaches' poll of the spring season, earning 19 of the 26 first-place votes. The Cowboys started with a fifth-place finish at the Amer Ari Invitational in Hawaii, their fifth top-five in five starts during the 2009-2010 season.
Amer Ari champion Stanford remained No. 2, but increased its number of first-place votes to seven. The Cardinal has three wins in 2009-2010.
Rounding out the top-five are Washington (No. 3), Florida (No. 4) and Texas A&M (No. 5).
Texas (No. 7) and Augusta State (No. 9) are the two new teams in the top-10, after being ranked Nos. 15 and 11, respectively, in the previous coaches' poll. The Longhorns finished fourth in Hawaii while the Jaguars will open their spring scheduled next week.
Oregon (No. 14), California (No. 16) and Arkansas (No. 25) moved into the top-25. See below for all the rankings.
