Pettersen Still Up in Hawaii

Suzann Pettersen shot a 4-under 68 to reach 14-under 202 in the LPGA Lotte Championship, maintaining her one-stroke lead through 54 holes of the $1.7 million event at the 6,383-yard Ko Olina Golf Club in Kopolei on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

The Norwegian carded four birdies and a bogey on the front nine to make the turn in 3-under 33, than tacked on another birdie - along with eight pars - for a 35 on the home half.

"I hit good shots, good putts," Pettersen told reporters. "Been putting good all week, and really not trying to force anything, just let it come to me. I felt like I maybe left a few out there, but still, like Ai says, par is not a bad score around here. If you mix in a few birdies here and there, it really helps. Just really glad I managed to stay with it and kind of finish up."

Alone in fourth at 206 with a round to go is South Korea's Hyo Joo Kim (69), while another stroke back and five behind Pettersen are first-round leader Ariya Jutanugarn (68) of Thailand and Americans Lizette Salas (67) and Stacy Lewis (69).

Jessica Korda, who matched Seo for the low round of the day, a 6-under 66, shares eighth at 208 with No. 1-ranked Inbee Park (67) and Jodi Ewart Shadoff (68).

Local favorite Michelle Wie had a 69 - her lowest score of the tournament and only the second time she's broken 70 in 21 starts this season - to move into a tie for 40th at 1-under 215 with seven other players.
