Schniederjans Turns Pro

Ollie Schniederjans has turned professional and has signed a management contract with Excel Sports. Schniederjans will be represented by Jon Heaton, who will oversee his tour responsibilities as well as all marketing and endorsement opportunities.

Schniederjans made the cut in the 2015 U.S. Open and 2015 Open Championship, becoming only the third amateur since 1960 to qualify for the weekend in both major championships during the same calendar year.

A 2015 graduate of Georgia Tech, where he claimed six individual NCAA tournament victories, Schniederjans is one of the game's most exciting emerging talents. He was awarded the 2014 Mark H McCormack Medal as the No. 1-ranked amateur in the world, was named a First Team All-American after his junior and senior seasons, and represented the United States in both the 2014 and '15 Palmer Cups.

Schniederjans will make his professional debut at this week's RBC Canadian Open, and will be competing in several other PGA Tour events in the upcoming months.
