Shakeup at the Top of World Rankings


Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy maintained their positions as the No. 1 and No. 2-ranked players in men's golf, while newly-crowned Masters champion Adam Scott moved to No. 3 in the newest World Golf Ranking.

Angel Cabrera, who lost to Scott on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff Sunday, jumped from 269th all the way to 64th. Justin Rose is in fourth, followed by Brandt Snedeker, Luke Donald, Louis Oosthuizen, Steve Stricker, Matt Kuchar and Phil Mickelson in the top-10.

In women's golf, South Korea's Inbee Park supplanted Stacy Lewis as the top player in the Rolex Rankings, which came out Monday. Park moved to the top after winning the Kraft Nabisco Championship eight days ago. It was her second victory of the year and the second major title in her career.

Lewis, the reigning LPGA Tour Player of the Year following four victories in 2012, was No. 1 for only four weeks. She moved ahead of Taiwan's Yani Tseng, who's now No. 3. Tseng was No. 1 for 109 weeks before Lewis won consecutive events in Singapore and Phoenix in March to take over the top spot.
