Streelman Wins Par-3 Contest; Nicklaus & Three Others Card Aces

When Nicklaus, a six-time green jacket winner, made his hole-in-one the excited 75-year-old high-fived his playing partners, Ben Crenshaw and Gary Player, the caddies and fans around the tee.

Streelman and Colombia's Camilo Villegas finished tied at 5-under 22 after nine holes. The 33-year-old Villegas had not one but two aces Wednesday, on the fourth and eight holes. Also holing out from the tee were Chilean amateur Mathias Dominguez and South African Trevor Immelman, the 2008 Masters champion, both at the fourth.

Streelman beat Villegas with a birdie on the third playoff hole. In the history of the Par-3 event, no winner has ever gone on to earn a green jacket that same year. Nonetheless, Streelman is ready to go in the tournament proper. "Done all I can do," the 36-year-old from Illinois told reporters. "Now I've just got to go out and have fun and play."

When asked what his favorite ace was, Villegas said, "The second one, we were a little more emotional there. We just kind of jumped. Enjoying it man."

Four-time Masters winner Tiger Woods was accompanied by his two children, daughter Sam and son Charlie, and his girlfriend, skiing champion Lindsey Vonn. "I'll always have memories of my pop at Augusta and now Sam & Charlie," Woods wrote on Twitter. "An amazing day."

Defending Masters' champion Bubba Watson was accompanied by his young son Caleb, who was wearing the traditional white caddie suit and a green hat.
