Tiger Still No. 1; Scott Second

Despite his extended absence from competition, Tiger Woods has maintained his top spot in the world golf rankings. No. 2 is still Adam Scott, while Henrik Stenson is third.

The Swede is followed in the top-10 by Justin Rose, Phil Mickelson, Zach Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Matt Kuchar, Steve Stricker and Sergio Garcia.

The winner of last weekend's Sony Open, Jimmy Walker, moved up 15 spots to 32nd. Louis Oosthuizen, who won for the second straight year in the Volvo Golf Champions in his home country of South Africa, is now 27th, the highest ranking for the 2010 Open champion since he was 12th last July.

It was reported last week that Woods became golf's first billionaire with tournament earnings and endorsements topping $1.3 billion. He will tee it up on the PGA Tour for the first time this season in two weeks at the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego.

Woods has won that event seven times, with eight professional victories overall at Torrey Pines, including his most recent - and 14th overall - major title, the 2008 U.S. Open.

Woods (Arnold Palmer Invitational) shares the all-time record for the most wins in the same tournament with Sam Snead (Greater Greensboro Open).

The top-ranked player in this week's Humana Challenge in La Quinta, Calif., is Johnson.
