Tiger Up by Four at Doral

Tiger Woods will be looking for a wire-to-wire win on Sunday in the WGC-Cadillac Championship. If Woods pulls off a victory in the $8.75 million PGA Tour event at the TPC Blue Monster Course at Doral in Miami, it will be his seventh title in the tournament.

Starting the third round with a two-stroke lead over Graeme McDowell, Woods carded a 5-under 67, which tied for Saturday's low round. The No. 2-ranked player in the world stands at 18-under 198, four strokes clear of McDowell and five in front of veterans Phil Mickelson and Steve Stricker, who all shot 69s.

Woods and McDowell will be in the final group Sunday, with Mickelson and Stricker in the penultimate pairing (for all the tee times, visit http://www.worldgolfchampionships.com/cadillac-championship/tee-times.html). Woods has a 39-2 career record when he owns the outright lead heading into the final round.

Of the final round, Woods knows he'll have to continue to perform at a high level to for his second victory of the year; he won the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in late January. "Tomorrow's going to be tougher," he said at greenside, referring to Doral's continually shifting winds that make the course so tricky.

On Saturday, Woods carded four birdies and a bogey on the front nine to make the turn in 3-under 33, then tacked on three more birdies - against a bogey on the 17th when his tee shot stayed in a palm tree and he had to take an unplayable lie - for a 34 on the home half. If he holds serve in the final round, Woods will earn his 76th career victory, only six titles shy of Sam Snead's all-time record.

Sergio Garcia and last week's Honda Classic winner, Michael Thompson, both shot 67s to take a share of fifth at 205 with Charl Schwartzel and Keegan Bradley, who both had 69s on a day when the Blue Monster wasn't quite as amenable to scoring as it was the first two rounds.

Bubba Watson and Freddie Jacobson each had a 71 to tie for ninth at 10-under 206. Another stroke back sit Jason Dufner (69) and Dustin Johnson (70). Sharing 13th at 208 are Charles Howell III (69), John Senden (70) and Peter Hanson (70) in the no-cut tournament that features the world's top 64 players.

Rory McIlroy recorded his second straight under-par round, a 1-under 71, to get into a tie for 30th at 3-under 213 with Lee Westwood (71). The 23-year-old Northern Irishman got off to a rough start, with a bogey on the third and a double on the par-3 fourth (when his tee shot found water), but then played steadier, with six birdies - including five in Nos. 11-16 - and only two bogeys the rest of the way.
