Tour Caddies Launch new Service


Caddies on Course will offer after-dinner entertainment, corporate leadership training and motivational speaking as well as summer camps for elite young players. With 125 years of combined experience, the Caddies on Course team has worked for more than 150 professional tour players, with over 50 victories in events such as the Ryder Cup, U.S. Open, Masters, PGA Championship, and Presidents Cup.

The new company was formed by Grant Berry (caddie for Henrik Stenson, Carl Pettersson, Thomas Bjorn, Daniel Berger), Mike Hicks (Payne Stewart, Curtis Strange, Scott Hoch, Jonathon Byrd) and Mark Chaney (Fred Couples, Bo Van Pelt, Jeff Sluman). Other loopers involved include John "Cub" Burke (Davis Love III, Mark Calcavecchia, Tim Herron) and Dave Woosley (Chip Beck, Arron Oberholser, Kyle Stanley).

The group's programs are intended for the business market and social golf events. They include "Climbing the Leaderboard," a moderated session bringing a new twist to motivational speaking with comparisons between the game of golf and business leadership; "Go for the Greens Golf Day" gives tips and coaching during a golf outing, a video critique of players' swings and a Q&A session with the host caddies; and "Prepare like a Pro," which teaches the same drills and warm-up techniques used by pro tour players.

Berry, said, "With almost 30 years traveling the world with various tours, we are happy to be able to use the knowledge and insights of the game to provide unparalleled entertainment and training opportunities to golf enthusiasts and businesses across the U.S., and we have some incredible behind-the-scenes stories to share."

Hicks, the longtime caddie for the late Payne Stewart including his famous 1999 U.S. Open victory, added, "We have so much to offer with our engaging speaking programs through to our summer camps for elite players.
